Peanut Butter Banana Protein Shake

As you transition through the post-surgery meal plan, try out this protein shake recipe!

Servings 1 serving (1 serving = 1 cup)

Ingredients

  

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla or chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/3 cup frozen banana slices
  • 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt (vanilla or plain)
  • 4 tablespoons skim milk (or unsweetened dairy alternative)
  • 1/4 cup silken tofu
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter or peanut powder

Instructions

 

  • In a blender, combine all ingredients.
  • Blend for 2 minutes or until smooth.
